Deep Purple je britská hardrocková hudobná skupina, ktorá vznikla v Londýne, Anglicku v roku 1967. Napriek tomu, že v priebehu ich kariéry kapela prechádzal v svojom repertoári rôznymi hudobnými žánrami, je v prvom rade považovaná za priekopníkov heavy metalu a moderného hard rocku.
